Christmas Eve Traditions

After we cut the Gingerbread House we went for a little look at the Christmas lights in the street next to ours, let the kids open one present each, read The Nativity and hung their Christmas stockings...Jared was too excited to sleep - he kept saying, "It's too hard to sleep" - and was awake until 11.55pm!!!!

We decorated our Gingerbread House in blue and silver (to match the tree) this year - but I think there was a bit too much blue...

Christmas is nearly here!!

Pop Go The Wiggles

Just before Christmas we took the kids into the Sydney Entertainment Centre to see The Wiggles in their Pop Go The Wiggles show...Emmy especially loved it!

Although Tim is not a fan of Christmas lights he did come with us to The Cascades to check them out...maybe we'll put ours up next year???

This year we made hundreds of cinnamon cookies for Christmas - the kids loved 'helping'...

Our Street Christmas Party

Our street had a Christmas Party this year - the guy around the corner installed a giant blow up Santa in front of the house next door - you can see Jared and Emmy sitting on it's feet with Tim in the middle...and Emmy watching from the front door as it was pumped up!!

Emmy has her own textas!!

I couldn't believe how incredibly excited Em was about getting her own set of textas - oh, and she also loves Strawberry Shortcake (just like Aunty Beck)...

On Sunday we went to High Tea at Impassion in Camden. I wish Tim would let me paint our walls at home the same red as the beautiful red walls there!!! (2 down, 100 to go!!)
