Mother's Day 2007

This year we had lunch at our place and I made my Death By Chocolate triple layer chocolate brownie cake which we topped with chocolate almonds for Mum...Jared chose yellow (his favourite colour - so I was very flattered) tulips for me and we got pink ones (of course) for Mum...

Dad's Birthday

For Dad's Birthday we went to Mum and Dad's place - Mum made a beautiful white chocolate sponge cake with different citrus cream layers and white chocolate icing - my favourite sponge ever!

The babies loved it - especially Emmy! They also love playing the piano with Grandpa...

Oh, and I've included a photo of Mum's new pearl pink splashbacks especially for you, Aunty Elaine!!

Pre-School Mother's Day Concert

Mum and I were treated to a most exciting Mother's Day concert at Jared and Emmy's Pre-School. This was our first one and Jared sang beautifully. Emmy sat and stared at everyone...

Easter 2007

Jared and Emmy had a fantastic Easter - they loved the Easter Egg hunt at Grandma's place... We discovered that Emmy has tantrums when chocolate is taken away from her!!

Good Friday

On Good Friday we went to Mum and Dad's place for Mum's home-made hot cross buns - three different kinds this year!! (Oh, and Jared and Emmy loved the new sand in Grandma's sandpit!)

Jared and Emmy love to play together - especially with the same toys!! They also love wrestling on the floor and other rough games - usually instigated by Emmy! She loves to chase Jared and tackle him!

Emmy at 21 months...

Emmy is just crazy at the moment!! Poor Jared finds her very hard to deal with - she is very fussy and likes everyone to do exactly what she wants them to do - all the time - we are having lots of tantrums!!

Jared's 3rd Birthday!

Jared had a great 3rd birthday party - everything was about Lightning McQueen - the little red racing car from the Cars movie which Daddy and Jared both love!

Emmy's Big Girl Bed

Emmy has been able to climb out of her cot for a while now - so when she was see-saw-ing every time we put her to sleep we decided to get her a bed...she was so excited she did little happy dances all over the place!

Valentine's Day...

Mum and Dad offered to look after Emmy and Jared while we went to The Hermitage for dinner... Emmy had to wear her Valentine's Day outfit with her 'Ruby Red Dorothy' shoes... see The Food Bog for the dinner photos...

Our Tenth Wedding Anniversary - Fiji

We couldn't believe the view from our balcony - it was just like a postcard! We had such a great time - the weather was really hot and humid - perfect for swimming. We also went on a cruise out to Mana Island and went snorkelling - which we loved!
