Emmy's Birthday Dinner

For Emmy's Birthday dinner we had a Baskin Robbins cake - my dream cake - Chocolate Mousse Royale with Cotton Candy cones on top - Emmy loved it and had two (small) pieces...see her in her cute Eyore pyjamas from Auntie Jill...

Em's Birthday Afternoon Tea

Grandma looked after Jared and Em while I went off to work on her birthday - they had lots of fun playing with Em's new toys and making cupcakes. When I got home we iced them and had afternoon tea with Grandpa and Elizabeth.

Happy Birthday Emmy!

Emmy had a great time opening her birthday presents - she loves 'cooking' in her little kitchen! We discovered that she's very good at blowing out candles - she had a little 'chocolate' candle with her breakfast...

Emmy's last day of being one!

Emmy turns two tomorrow! She just adores sitting on the coffee table. As soon as Tim sits on the table to fiddle with the TV she hops up beside him, not missing any chance she has to be up there!!

Emmy's First Hair Cut

Emmy wasn't very sure about having her hair cut - but she sat very still on Grandma's lap while Coventry cut it...just one week until she turns two!!!

Jared, Emmy and Kirio

Jared and Emmy still love to play together - they love the Cat in the Hat Jack-in-the-box at the moment.

Jared has taken to looking after one of Emmy's dolls. He calls her "Kirio". When we ask him why she is called that he tells us, "That's her name". Silly us. He loves to tuck her into bed, feed her and show her 'interesting things'. We are often dragged along to go and see Kirio when she is sleeping - all tucked into Jared's bed with his wrap (which he sleeps with) and sometimes some Matchbox cars as well...

Twins!!

Look what I found, Mum!!

Jared and Emmy found and opened a Twix bar - luckily for them there were two biscuits in the packet or they might have been caught up in a quarrel which would have meant consfication of the offending chocolate!!! Jared had barely any chocolate on him at all - Emmy had it all over her face and hands - but none on her clothes!!

Mother's Day 2007

This year we had lunch at our place and I made my Death By Chocolate triple layer chocolate brownie cake which we topped with chocolate almonds for Mum...Jared chose yellow (his favourite colour - so I was very flattered) tulips for me and we got pink ones (of course) for Mum...

Dad's Birthday

For Dad's Birthday we went to Mum and Dad's place - Mum made a beautiful white chocolate sponge cake with different citrus cream layers and white chocolate icing - my favourite sponge ever!

The babies loved it - especially Emmy! They also love playing the piano with Grandpa...
